Another year, another iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American tech giant has just announced their brand-new iPhone 17 <\/strong>and iPhone 17 Pro<\/strong> models next to their \u201cthinnest-ever\u201d iPhone Air<\/strong> model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their sweet-17 line boasts a slew of upgrades including new thinner designs<\/strong> (with a glaring drawback), vastly improved battery charging and lifespan<\/strong> as well as a new ProMotion<\/strong> display<\/strong> that allows up to 120Hz refresh rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the hood, the iPhone 17 boasts a spanking new A19 chip<\/strong> that promises to supports high-end mobile gaming, AI generation, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the camera side, the iPhone 17 will come with an upgraded suite of cameras<\/strong> including main, ultra-wide and new telephoto cameras utilizing 48MP sensors – great news for both travel photography beginners<\/a> and enthusiasts<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selfie-fanatics aren\u2019t left out either, as the new Center Stage front camera<\/strong> features a larger square 18MP sensor that\u2019s optimal for selfies and FaceTime video calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powering all of these features and cameras will be iOS 26<\/strong>, an operating system optimized for AI and privacy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only that, the iPhone 17 will be releasing alongside the iPhone Air<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boasting a super slim 5.6mm width along with minimal compromises in power and camera features, this model will no doubt attract those looking for a featherweight iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, due to their slim designs, both the 17 and Air models will be eSIM only<\/strong>. Thankfully, most of the major Malaysian ISPs support eSIM activation. Using China-only apps<\/a> won\u2019t be much of problem either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of Malaysia, all three models will be released on the same day as the US release – 19 September<\/strong>, with preorders beginning on 12 September<\/strong> at 8PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
