
Forget flying, soon you’ll be able to ride rail all the way to Thailand in style!
Earlier on May 3, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that direct train service between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok would be revived, with a three-month preparation period announced as well.
If implemented, this will no doubt the fan the tourism love affair between the two countries. In the past year ending April, Malaysian tourists to Thailand reached 1.23 million, just a stone’s throw away from top tourist China’s 1.38 million visitors.
Before jumping on that train, make sure to fill in the newly-mandatory Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for tourists.
And once you arrive, don’t forget to get some of these famous Thai snacks and cosmetics!
