Visiting Thailand soon? You might have a new (tiny) thing to worry about.
Beginning from May 1, 2025, all foreign travellers to the Land of Smiles will be required to fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card or TDAC and submit it three days before their arrival through the official online portal.
This is part of Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports digital push to phase out paperwork and slash wait times during immigration for tourists.
This has followed similar moves by several ASEAN neighbours such as Malaysia, which mandated digital arrival cards for foreign visitors from Dec 2024 and Singapore, which has done the same since 27 March 2020.
How to Submit your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

- Visit the TDAC Website three days before arrival:
https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home - Fill in the required information (a valid, working email is required)
- Check for acknowledgement email at your email address.
- Present acknowledgement email to the immigration officer upon arrival in Thailand.
