
Malaysian travellers hoping to visit India, Pakistan and the Kashmir region may have to rethink their plans.
Following air strikes by India after the killing of 26 tourists in the Indian-administered portion of Kashmir, both the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad and the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi have issued travel advisories.
Malaysians are strongly advised to postpone non-essential travel to both nations, particularly around the disputed Kashmir region.
Any Malaysians currently in both nations are also advised to register themselves with each nations’ Malaysian embassies through email or telephone:
